Van Z. Krikorian Joins Global Gold Corporation as Vice President and General Counsel

GREENWICH, CT, June 23, 2003 - Global Gold Corporation, an international gold mining, development and exploration company with mining properties in Chile and Armenia, today announced that Van Z. Krikorian has joined as Vice President and General Counsel as of June 2, 2003. Global Gold is a public company reporting to the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Mr. Krikorian was previously a partner in the New York office of Vedder Price Kaufman & Kammholz, and represented Global Gold Corporation as outside counsel since 1995. He has provided strategic advice and comprehensive representation for international mining projects, and has helped structure investments, negotiate agreements and resolve disputes on behalf of Global and other clients. As Vice President and General Counsel, Mr. Krikorian will now be responsible for negotiating all contracts and overseeing all international operating issues.

Mr. Krikorian is a widely published and recognized authority on the legal, political and economic developments in the former Soviet Union. He is a founding member of the Turkish Armenian Reconciliation Commission, former Chairman and current Director of the Washington based Armenian Assembly, and was appointed and served as a member of the US delegation to the Moscow CSCE meetings during the 1991 Bush Administration. In 1992, he served as Deputy Representative and Counselor to the United Nations for the newly independent Republic of Armenia. Additionally, he has participated in numerous international conferences and is a frequent public speaker.

Mr. Krikorian received his B.A. in 1981 from George Washington University. He received his J.D. in 1984 from Georgetown University Law Center. Mr. Krikorian resides with his wife, Priscilla, and four children in Rye, New York.
